So, apparently, I have not blogged in a few years. I’m not sure how often I will blog, but since I was reminded that I still have this site and renewed it,  I thought it would be nice to say hello.

It was 2018 when I last blogged. My son was in middle school and somehow, he is currently applying to several universities. If your child is currently in the same world, that application process, right? All those essays… Thankfully, one of my son’s strengths is writing; otherwise, oh-wee, I would feel bad for him.

Anyway, I can’t believe he is going to be a college student next year. I was twenty-six when he was born, in graduate school, so only a few years older than he is now. Ok, fine, more like eight, but you get the point. It’s crazy how quick time moves. I wish I could pause or slow it down; however, I am thankful and filled with joy knowing I was able to enjoy all the moments and be there for him when he needed me.

If you have little ones, I’m going to say what was often said to me by parents of older children when my son was young: Enjoy them because they grow up so fast! He was a baby yesterday, today he is eighteen! Yes, eighteen!

Oh, also, the featured image is from our gorgeous front yard. HA! It was our gorgeous front yard in Maui this summer. Before this summer, the last time we were in Maui, our son was 22 months and we were celebrating my graduate school graduation. Yes, I know… It flies…
